God’s Word is living, effective, and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating to the division of soul and spirit.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him.

For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Every word of God is pure; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
